Junior Kindergarten

Junior Kindergarten is a pivotal year — children are ready to absorb more structured learning while still needing the joy and freedom of play. Our JKG programme strikes exactly that balance.

What we focus on

• Pre-literacy — letter recognition, phonics and early reading readiness
• Numeracy foundations — numbers, counting, basic addition concepts through games
• Critical thinking — puzzles, problem-solving activities, open-ended questions and STEM activities
• Communication — show-and-tell, group discussions, presentations, drama and role plays
• Life skills — responsibility, empathy and working as a team
• Music and movement — songs, rhythm, instruments and dance that develop coordination, memory and expression
• Art and creative expression — painting, craft and creative projects that nurture imagination and fine motor skills
• Language development — introduction to 4 languages (spoken) and introduction to Indian language script
